Dr. Tisa Morris-Christian is a board-certified family medicine physician with over two decades of experience in patient care. Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, she has been practicing medicine since 2000.
A proud native of Chicago’s South Side, Dr. Morris-Christian is a graduate of Whitney M. Young Magnet High School. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1993 and went on to obtain her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in 1997. In 2010, she furthered her commitment to public health by earning a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Dr. Morris-Christian is deeply engaged in her community. She has volunteered at numerous health fairs and has spoken to audiences, including kindergarten, middle, and high school students, college students, and senior citizens, promoting health education and awareness.
Her dedication to maternal and community health has been recognized with several honors, including the Joliet Area Breastfeeding Alliance Gold Standard Award and the 2015 Advocate Physician Partners Exemplary Physician Award.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Morris-Christian enjoys spending time with her husband and their son.
