Dr. Tisa Morris-Christian is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and has been practicing medicine since the year 2000. She was born and raised on Chicago’s South Side. She graduated from Whitney Young Magnet High School.
In 1993, she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she majored in biology. She became a Doctor of Medicine in 1997, graduating from the College of Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
In 2010, she earned a Master of Public Health Degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She has volunteered at community health fairs and spoken to middle, high school, and college students, and to senior citizens.
Dr. Morris-Christian received the Joliet Area Breastfeeding Alliance Gold Standard Award and the 2015 Advocate Physician Partners Exemplary Physician Award. She is married and has one son.
